Practitioner Services
Each practitioner at our practice must have a philosophy of excellent care for individuals with foot issues or foot-associated problems. We encourage our practitioners to take a team approach in assessing and treating various foot conditions. Each practitioner is dedicated to providing the best service for the patient and offering referrals when needed.
Amanda Figliomeni
Graduated and received her Bachelor of Science - Podiatry in 2000.
Amanda has worked in many facets of Podiatry, gaining experience in predominantly
Private practice, sports, as well as public hospital setting, correctional facilities and in aged care.
Amanda represented WA in women’s football (soccer) from 1994-2000, giving her the opportunity to work with the inaugural Perth Glory Women's team
in a podiatric and managerial role, working closely with coaching staff, players and the medical team.
Amanda enjoys all aspects of podiatry and has a special interest in paediatrics, biomechanical analysis and orthotic therapy.
She is qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture and foot mobilisation techniques, which provide a useful adjunct to the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
Amanda is also accomplished in the care of conservative and surgical treatment of ingrown toenails, diabetes assessment and footwear advice.
She is passionate about providing exceptional care, in a friendly, caring, professional manner.
She also loves shoes!
Jessica Teo (North Perth)
Jessica graduated from Curtin University in 2002 and has gained much experience in private practice and nursing homes. She has a keen interest in all areas of podiatry, including treating musculoskeletal conditions and paediatrics. Jessica is also qualified in providing Western Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling treatments. She has been a part of the CentrePod Podiatry team since 2003.
Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, family and friends in her spare time. Jessica comes from a family who enjoys the outdoors and loves to run and swim regularly.
Angela Canci
Graduated in 1989 with a Bachelors degree - B.Sc (Podiatry) with further studies completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Podiatry in 1996.
Professional appointments have included management of a variety foot ailments in both private practice and aged care facilities.
Angela partakes in continuing education to build further on the knowledge acquired for podiatric medicine and has significant experience in the diagnosis and treatment of foot conditions.
Special interests include all aspects in general podiatry, sporting injuries, children with musculoskeletal problems and lower limb biomechanics with insoles/orthoses.
DVA and EPC referrals welcomed.
Mei-Ling Dickson (Mount Lawley)
Mei-Ling is an experienced practising podiatrist graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry from Curtin University in 1994. She has extensive experience in the private and public health sectors and is the consulting podiatrist at St John of God Mount Lawley. Mei-ling has worked previously in the UK for four years, worked in remote QLD and NT in conjunction with the mining industry, and worked with Disability Services with special needs and handicapped children. She has regularly practised privately during this time.
Mei-ling enjoys all aspects of podiatry, although she is particularly interested in clinical podiatry, including wound care, aged care, paediatrics, the high-risk foot and indigenous health. She has dry needling experience and thrives on challenging cases. Mei-ling believes in personalised, high-quality care and welcomes diversity. Mei-Ling is married with a young son and is active in the local children's schools and sporting communities. She also plays netball and is strongly interested in AFL, Athletics and Soccer.
